SPOT rates for shipping containers from Asia to northern Europe in the week ending Friday dropped 0.2 per cent to US$584 per TEU, according to the Shanghai Containerised Freight Index (SCFI). Asia-Mediterranean trade ticked up 0.2 per cent to $601 per TEU. Asia to the US west coast remained flat at $1,152 per FEU while those to the east coast stuck at $2,193 per FEU. |
